Legal
This page says what you may not do with DiscoveryHQ. Two ideas cover nearly all of it: only check websites you are responsible for, and only publish things about your business that are true.
Effective 2 August 2026 · Loom Labs AI LLC
This policy applies to everyone who uses DiscoveryHQ — the free check-up on the public site as well as everything you do once you have an account. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Breaking this policy means breaking the Terms.
We wrote it in plain English rather than in defined terms, because a rule nobody reads protects nobody. DiscoveryHQ is developed and operated by Loom Labs AI LLC.
The rules
Eight things. If you are running check-ups on your own business and using what we write honestly, none of them will ever apply to you.
Only run a website check on a site you own, run, or have permission from the owner to analyse. If you work for a client, get their okay first.
Do not use DiscoveryHQ to attack another business, to spread things about a competitor that are not true, or to pretend to be someone you are not.
No fake reviews. No claims you cannot back up. No doorway pages, no cloaking (showing AI one thing and showing people another), no stuffing pages with repeated words.
Do not resell, rent out or repackage DiscoveryHQ as your own, and do not scrape our pages or your reports to build a copy of it.
Do not work around quotas or rate limits, run automated bulk requests, or open extra accounts to squeeze out more check-ups than your plan allows.
No testing us for weak spots, no trying to break in, no overloading the service, and no reverse-engineering it to work out how it is built.
Do not put anything into DiscoveryHQ that is illegal, stolen, or that you do not have the right to use — including anything that belongs to someone else.
If the law where you are does not permit using a service like this, or you are covered by trade sanctions, you may not use DiscoveryHQ.
DiscoveryHQ writes fixes so that a real business becomes easier for AI to understand — clearer answers to real customer questions, plain facts about what you do, a small code label that tells AI what your business is. That is the whole point of the product. What it is not for is faking a business into an answer it has not earned. If a fix would only work by misleading someone, it is not a fix, and using our words that way breaks this policy.
Generated content
We write text for you to paste into your own site. Nothing is ever applied to your website automatically, which means the last check is always yours.
What we generate is a draft written from your website and from the answers AI gave about you. It can be out of date or simply wrong. Check every line against how your business actually works.
You are responsible for everything that ends up on your site, whoever drafted it. Do not publish claims about your business that are untrue.
A check-up confirms whether a change worked — it never confirms whether a claim is true. Only you can do that.
Reporting
If a DiscoveryHQ account is being used against you, or against anyone else, we want to know. Reports are read by a person.
Write to support@dicoveryhq.com with what happened, the website or account involved, and anything that shows it — screenshots, links, dates. The more specific you are, the faster we can act.
If you think something illegal is happening, say so in the subject line and we will look at it first.
If the rules are broken
We match the response to what actually happened. An honest mistake and a deliberate attack are not treated the same way.
We may also remove content, refuse a check-up, or keep a record of what happened so we can spot it if it happens again. Where the law requires it, we may report an account to the authorities.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to us at support@dicoveryhq.com and tell us why. We will look again.
Changes
New ways to misuse a product turn up, and this page has to keep up with them.
When we change something here, we update the effective date at the top of the page. For a change that meaningfully affects what you are allowed to do, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Carrying on using DiscoveryHQ after a change means the updated policy applies to you.
Questions about anything on this page? Email support@dicoveryhq.com — a plain question gets a plain answer.
A free check-up takes a minute or two. No account needed to run it, and a free account saves the report.
